ONE-ON-ONE PERSONAL TRAINING
Whatever your goals for health or fitness, there's no doubt a personal trainer can help you achieve these, prescribing an accurate and tailored exercise programme, making sure you stay focused and motivated, and above all ensuring that you do so safely. Now of course one-on-one training is more expensive, but as with all things in life, you get what you pay for, and the dedicated attention of a personal trainer can make all the difference. Having a personal trainer is much more than simply having a fitness instructor come up with a few exercises for you.
What I can help you with:
- Weight loss
- 'General' fitness/health
- Specific fitness - for a marathon, or personal best in a 10KM for example
- Specific sports - to help improve performance in football, tennis etc
What does it involve?
- An initial consultation (which is free) to establish your current health/fitness and even lifestyle and nutritional habits. From this we can then discuss your goals and how much time you have available and come up with suitable programmes to meet - and hopefully exceed - these.
- Regular tailor-made sessions designed to get the utmost out of you and out of each session
- Regular contact - if you have a question about any of the exercises, programmes, or even about a nutritional side of things, I'm on the end of the phone/email to help.
- Periodised Plans - nothing stops people achieving their goals like a poor plan and a lack of achievable goals along the way. I'll work with you to make sure we have a suitable plan in place over however long we've got, designed to keep you enjoying what you're doing and passionate about keeping it up!
- Deep knowledge base - personal trainers (REPS Level 3) have a good working knowledge of more than just exercise prescription and the working muscles. Our knowledge extends to the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, endocrine system, nervous system and nutrition. As such I am able to ensure all aspects of your programme compliment each other and that the exercises are entirely appropriate to ensure you get the very best out of your training
- Fun- I know training can sometimes be a drag, so it's also one of my goals to make sure the training is suitably varied and interesting, so that you continue to find it challenging and enjoyable.

How long do I need to commit for?
- As long or as little as you like! You can just do one or two sessions with me to see how it goes, though for any lasting benefit and effect you would benefit most from regular sessions over a couple of months at least.
How much does it cost?
- Initial Consultation - £FREE. This is a vital part of the whole process as it is the basis from which every subsequent session stems. We'll meet for up to an hour to go through various forms and questionnaires and have a good chat about what you want to achieve, from which I will then go away and come up with a suitable programme tailored specifically for you, which we'll go through on the first session.
- Regular Sessions - these are £40 each, or if you buy 'in bulk' I do 5 sessions for 180gbp or 10 for £350.
