For health, fitness and fun!

I've been a keen sportsman and runner for as long as I can remember, and in 2004 started up sport and adventure club 8th Day UK, organising loads of activities, sports, and adventure weekends for our 250+ members.

Wanting to take my passion for fitness - and particularly running - a bit further I've since qualified as a personal trainer (Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) Level 3), aiming to help others achieve their health or fitness goals and to try and inspire them to find it as beneficial and important as it is to me. Personally I find it a great way to relieve stress, vital in order to help me perform at various other adventure sports, and of course a great justification for the odd treat or two!

I've run 3 road marathons (London, New York and Dublin), and the Man v Horse Marathon several times, a 22 miles hilly race in mid Wales. I've completed the Devon Coast-to-Coast race involving running, cycling and kayaking, done several long distance bike rides, triathlons and biathlons and plenty of 10K races, my PB being 39m14s.

Passions outside of running and cycling include surfing, skiing, mountain biking, windsurfing, tennis, football, rugby, golf..and wine (yes, I know, but heh, no one's perfect!)

I am also fully insured for everything that I do.
